Disodium EDTA

Disodium EDTA is a chelating agent that binds trace metal ions (like calcium, magnesium, and iron) which can otherwise destabilize formulations and reduce preservative effectiveness. By neutralizing these metals, it helps prevent rancidity, discoloration, and texture changes, while also boosting the performance of preservatives. We use Disodium EDTA in select Fyrn™ formulations to improve stability and extend shelf life.
